That is a very nice parlor cabinet. I am trying to find one in my area. Glenn Sorry for the double post. I have used Sharon's method for basting and like it.

The ZZ attachments are easy to find, but people who try to use them are generally unimpressed.
The Viking 21 is NOT a small or lightweight machine. It is a full-sized, built-like-a-tank Viking.

I bought some last week at the auto parts store up the street.

I have joined the crowd of FW machine owners. It is a 1948,don't have it home yet. Was wondering if all the 1948's have the same face plate and if anyone who has a 1948 would post some pictures. My daughter in Nebraska bought it for me but she won't be coming to Montana until in April. Thanks

No, it came that way. I bought it from another collector, who had incredible machines and drove all over the US to pick them up. Some of my best ones were from her. Sadly, she has passed on to that big quilting bee, and I miss her terribly.

On another note, sorry for the comments on GoJo after everyone else had already said the same thing!! You folks were really chatty today, and I had pages and pages to check up on, and didn't read them all before posting.
No snow here, it was 52 degrees today. It will go into the 20's tomorrow, but by then the rain should have passed. We are drowning right now, and it is supposed to be very windy here. Stay warm and dry, everyone!!

You all are cracking me up tonight! Can't wait to get my totally dismantled sewing room back together and get going on my 301. You all are making me even more antsy to get this renovation project finished!!
