I paid $32.00 for mine, in a nice cabinet, from a Salvation Army store....Mine has a "4H" scratched on the bed of it......just barely seen..........would love to know where all it has been and who owned it...........i really enjoy sewing on it.....

Good grief!! One of my worst fears. I always tell people if you have to drop one on your foot, make sure it's a new plastic one.

I see two problems (1) that looks like a replacement bed extension and no wonder as it is in the case backwards which does not protect the hinge. (2) where are the cams for the zig-zag ( there should be four)
that said YES would buy it in a heartbeat, love mine that was grad gift in 1957(new) and sews with me every day.
would have for greatgrandaughter when she learns to sew (11 mo. old now so she watches and is interested)

Wait, that's in the case backwards? That's the way I always see them...usually with the attachments on the "shelf"... hmm.. I never would have guessed the machine goes in face first.
The zig zagger is not the "usual" one that takes the cams.

It's an "older" style where the bight, etc adjusted right on the zig zagger, instead of the cams. It's also much smaller, and according to the article above, a slightly better zig zagger.
