Spool of thread for bobbin!

Those machines must be wonderful for chain piecing. A quilters dream!

The spool used by these machines was the small spool that held 125 yards of thread. Some of us were lucky and saved some of these small spools. (They were so cute.)
Most bobbins hold about 35 yards of thread.

My Two Spool has a spool winder so I can wind any kind of thread onto the spool. I can put yarn onto the spool and do bobbin work. The manual tells you what to do with the can when you have such thick thread in it.
