Tailor Professional Need Help
I have this Tailor Professional Sewing Machine and it sews awesome but runs rough. I was wondering if anyone knew how to oil it for I don't have a manual. I cleaned all the lint out and I'm sure I can do more...
Any help would be appricated. Thanks

A manual won't necessarily tell you all the oiling points. Remove the top and bottom if you can, as well as the left side face plate. Put a drop of oil every where metal moves against, or into, or through metal. Don't use WD40 or 3in1 oil, use a good sewing machine oil or Tri Flow.

owlvamp,
You have a genuine Polish made copy of the Singer 834. A clone!!! There is nothing exotic about it. It was made around 1990 + or - a couple years.
First of all only the body is "all metal". The insides are stamped metal with plastic gears. It is identical inside to the Singer 834.
To smooth it out:
>you need to remove the top, 2 screws, clean and oil everything that moves or looks like it might move.
>remove the nose piece, 1 screw, clean and oil everything in there as it all moves.
>remove the bottom cover or case, clean the bobbin area thoroughly and oil everything that moves.
>remove the belt cover, 2 screws, check that the belt is good and not too tight. This machine has a plastic motor mount and can be broken by over tightening the belt. At least mine does.
Put it all back together and use it. That's about all you can do. ALL Singer attachments, and many parts will fit that machine. You can use the Singer 834 manual if you don't have one.

Don't oil the plastic gears. If you see grease on them use either sewing machine grease or a good quality light synthetic grease. If they don't have any grease on them or any signs that they were ever greased then don't grease them. Some plastic gears can be damaged by petroleum based products.

Make it easy on the pic posting process, if possible, by reducing image size, that way it won't bog down folks who are on dial up internet, or are using "smart" phones that won't zoom out enough to see the big pic...
