Wouldn't horizontal drawers do a better job of holding things in?? Aren't vertical drawers technically shelves?

Take one of the zeroes off and I have a centennial model exactly like that. Only difference is my cabinet veneer is chipped from opposite side.

Edit: being an Apple user with spelling correction on, I have sympathy for those posting "sowing" machines. I've learned to reread my posts within the 20 minute limit.

I have a centennial model exactly like that too. I had to sacrifice the cabinet it was too far gone.

My apple devices learned after a while.

Vertical drawers means they are one on top of the other, Horizontal means they are side by side.
My name is Cathy - and I'm addicted to old sewing machines and their attachments.

I think I worked that out a little after I posted it. It still made me giggle though.

making something out of an antique singer machines doesn't make it an antique furniture. you'll be surprised at people's asking price at CL for old singer sewing machines. but sometimes we get lucky too.

I don't know. I thought I read that here somewhere. If my (bad) memory is correct, it was when the sledgehammer/broken sewing machine/rock pictures started showing up.
