So I have to ask... is the 101 a 1921, 22, or 23 model?

Here is my “Gramps” purchased years ago for a mere $.25. It’s a Wizard, with no number. It’s a Singer clone straight stitch( and a beautiful stitch he makes).Has all of the attachments, super cute oil can, and found an owners manual that works for him. I don’t use him very often though.

Nice Wizard! It is a 15 class but not a clone. The model # should be on it somewhere. Wizard model numbers are weird, it possibly starts with a 2KC-xxxx. Built by Brother so it's a good one.

great idea.. i've been collecting machines and researching them for some time .. i just found one that has me stumped ..it's a vogue stitch "clone" but not sure what they cloned or the year.. of course there are no records... The closest machine to it is a vogue stitch on youtube .. but they don't offer much information .. i'm new to quilting board .. how do i post a picture on here?

Welcome, mr rockford. It looks like you figured out how to post a picture. Interesting machine, however, I don't think that is a clone. It is probably a class 15 machine as the majority of the Japanese machines are. There are many badged Japanese machines. Many use the same badge name, but were actually made by different manufacturers.

Are there some JA or JC numbers in the base of the machine?

I didn't see anything quite like yours in these threads, but lots of images of Japanese machines in the following threads. The first ones are about 15 clones, specifically.
Will the Real 15 clone please stand up
Can you please explain "Clones?"
