Saperry,

Yeah, I have a 750 T &S that had the rubber feed dogs -- The metal feed dogs are available -- I think my son ordered them off of Amazon! He said he would NEVER put another set of rubber feed dogs on one of those machines.

The rubber ones were shot on my 648 Touch & Sew. Macybaby sold me a set of metal ones from a parts machine with a different model #. They fit perfectly. I think a lot of parts interchange in that series. Why not the rubber ones? Did they not grip the fabric well? I don't recall switching them out to be any big deal.

That's really cute. The irons look small too, like my Jones.

great find. If you contact Husquvarna (800 number online) they will date it for you. (They bought White and maintain the Database.)

The wife and I attended 30 yardsales yesterday during our town-wide yardsale event. I must be doing well at buying old sewing machines around the area, because we only saw one sewing machine. Unfortunately, it was a Singer 15-91, and I already have 9 of them, so I passed on another one. Singer 15-91 machines were/are VERY popular around here. I was tempted to buy it because the wiring looked as good as I’ve seen on a 15-91. It didn’t look like it would need much to get it up and going again. Just the head for twenty dollars or make offer.

Those 15's are hard to resist but if you have nine already you probably made a good choice! They are hard to resist when the price is so low though aren't they? I felt kinda lucky to not find anything this weekend lol!

A couple weeks ago I ran into a home selling a Singer 127 treadle, a 15-91 in a table and a FashionMate in a long table. I casually threw out a low ball offer for the 15. They passed on the offer but I left my name and number anyway. The next evening I got a call to pick up all three for 20.00. It was too hard to pass up. The 15's in decent shape and the 127 had a nice puzzle box in the drawer along with the old manual. Now I just need to build an addition on the garage for all these tables lol!
