It may have been HelenAnn. I got it in a yardsale, so I’m not sure what use it was originally sold for.

I forgot to mention that I have another separate container for my sewing machine oil and grease. It’s an old metal bread/cake baking pan, 3.5 x 7.5 inches in size that got cycled out of the wife’s cooking pans when it began showing age and rust. I use oil straight out of the bottle on my industrial machines, but for some more conservative household machine applications, I use a hypodermic syringe that I refill from an oil bottle. There are also a couple of spare new syringes still in the package that I get from my local pharmacy. They’re sold for diabetic use, and will last about 4 months before the oil swells the rubber plunger tip to the point that it pops off when refilling. I get the ones with the longest needle for the best reach into machines.

I also have a free-standing toolbox full of automotive hand tools for when I need large screwdrivers, wrenches, pliers, or big ol’ hammers.

Go to Harbor Freight and get a small tool bag. Mine has a zipper top and outside pockets.

A tackle box. It may be Plano.

the top fold out tray had one narrow full width slot, two half length, then the remainder of the half length are two slots crosswise. I carved an opening between the long slot & the middle half length slot for the handles of my shears.

The 2nd fold out tray (crosswise slots) has my small tools, needle plate, razor blades, beeswax, hooks/eye/snaps, alternate machine feet-zipper etc, in the bottom is the larger attachments like the ruffler and binder, a box of quilt pins, a tack marker, a threading tool (elastics-ribbons), 60" tape, 120" tape, top hat cams, and I suspect, more stuff yet.

I sew on a standard 60" office desk, with a right hand return. The tackle box sits to the right of my sewing machine. The return has about 3-4' of shelves covered by two sliding doors, then there are three shallow drawers to the right of that. On the shelves are cardboard and plastic shoe boxes with supplies. Thread. Bias tape. ribbons/trims. Ribbed knit. Zippers.

My main sewing machine is a portable Singer 403. It just sits on the desktop & away I go. The knee well is wide enough I can have my serger to the right of the sewing machine when I am garment making, and just pivot to the left or right depending on which machine I need to use.

I have two more portable machines, a babylock Grace, and a New Home 50's or so, I think.

I have a Hoover in a sewing cabinet. I have been gifted a treadle, but it is missing the foot pedal and pitman. I'm too tall to sew at the Hoover.

I love my Sewing Desk.

I have 3 plastic towers with drawers that fit under my tables to hold all my extra stuff, like tons of scissors, rubber bands, sewing needles, bobbing threads, sewing machine extras, etc. I have a desk fabric covered tray from Tues. Morning for small scissors, ripper, 12" ruler, Nancy's Notions green measuring tool, pencils, pins, etc. that I don't have to open drawers to get etc. I have a tray at each sewing machine and on my cutting table, I have rotarys, rulers, pins, markers, etc. I have a plano box that I take to classes or with me when I go some where. It has just about one of everything in it. I don't think I'll ever be totally organized but I generally know where everything is! LOL!!
