Anael, I'm working on those same blocks. They look so complicated but have been going together easily (at least so far). I have 8 done. Will have to try to get a pic this week-end. I love the dark blue star fabric--great block.
Carrie, I'll accept your challenge to finish my Batik Rosie this month. OMG now that I typed that I'm committed!! Keep pushing me please!

Anael ... *sigh* Bonus with both B_+Ws and Reds! Ditto re few cows outside now. Your photo could just as easily be taken here. Reminds me so much of my old farm with the shade trees on the field's edge. Ditto, as for cows in barns now. More and more here too, and I bet it's well above 1/2. Very often better care can be given the cattle and more consistency year round, being that ours need the barn for the winter weather. Yes, we have many Dutch farmers who have settled here in Canada, dairy and many other farm types and have done quite well with their farm operations. And many came as you got older too! Beautiful Star Block!
You bet ... many don't know where their milk "really" comes from!!! .... and thus, think of me for the next month, helping to educate the consumer about just that! We will have 13 cows milking in two demos a day (1/2 each time) along with young stock to help them see how "big" a calf is at birth, and then the growth for the first year. Lots of other displays with that. The most important part is the ability for them to ask questions, directly to producers (or has-beens, like me!)
JanRN and CarrieM ... yeaaaaaaaaa Two Rosies coming up! The Challenge is on!!
JanRN and Anael ... perhaps another challenge? Look forward to seeing your blocks, JanRN!
Sleep well, Anael .. and beat that headache

Anael--that is a pretty block and nice cow pictures. I saw some cows out to pasture today on my way home and thought of you riding and taking pictures.
Jan--I will get my blocks out tonight and decide how I want to put them together.
QE--Jan is finishing Rosie (my Rosie was finished in February); my goal is to finish my 2nd PC quilt this month. I just figured like Jan if we said we would do it, then it is more likely to be done!

Quiet evening...surprised I was the last one to post...and here I am again.
I brought in my PC blocks tonight and have a layout figured out (didn't want just straight rows/sashing). Tomorrow I will get them on my design wall to decide what blocks will go where. I have a headache today too (Anael are you sharing?) I didn't do sewing this afternoon, but I'll be home all day tomorrow so will for sure have time in the clubhouse. #1 PC layout, #2 quilt baby quilt, and #3 sew next step of flying geese for MIL quilt. I want to be able to stare at the PC layout through out the day to see if I need to move blocks around. The baby quilt shouldn't take long and if I get the next step on MIL's quilt done, then I can bring in pieces for pressing and trimming in the evening. It could potentially be a very productive day.
