Lot's of chatter going on!!! I just got home this evening...had a good couple of days in Delaware...Checked out my favorite Amish quilt shop and walked out a very happy camper.....there was a very large wooden clothes dryer that had 2.5" strips of fabric on sale for .25 cents each....I bought 30 of them for my swap...the owner said that it won't always be out front only once in awhile..she told me that because I don't live in the area I would be able to "shop" in the back room when I visit...How's that????? I was walking on air when I left the shop..My sister and I had so much fun picking out the different strips.

QuiltE your MB is so pretty....soft colors...just what you asked for...I love the mr & mrs farmer...block...Where did you get the pattern from??? I"ll bet you had a grand old time shopping!! I know I did!!!

I can't wait to get my MB...I hope it gets here before Saturday...I"ll be on my way to NC April 1st...

Everybody keep busy chatting, reading, sewing, etc...Life is Good...enjoy it!!!

QNSue ... well, we could always make another block with the two of you dressed properly!! :)

Honchey ... So good to have you back after your fun time with your DSis! Looks like you are "special" with that shop owner to be given the special privileges! :) And what a neat way to buy fabrics! JanieW did a splendid job on y MB, didn;t she! :) Te Farmers were two separate patterns that I joined to make the one block. Also, scaled them at different % so that the sizes were more like IRL. Patterns came via QNSue's incredible pattern stash! :) I did have a good time shoping ... even though I knew I did NOT need any more stash and too, I didn't really have a lot of time after spending so long at the antique mall!!!

I bet there'll be a LOT of MBs arriving in the next few days! :)

DublB ... Looks like your photo didn't post now.

Oh my gosh is that Bram in white he looks like he is saying "yay we're together look at us" what a beautiful photo they look gorgeous in their designer duds..

The quilting is finished and i just finished sewing the binding on, tomorrow evening will sit in front of the tv and hand sew it down. Made the deadline...

Yes that's Bram dressed in white. I didn't make his outfit. My DDIL and I don't like white on them ;)
This is the first time you really see the difference in size between the two of them.

Congrats on making the deadline ;)

I agree Anael, white is boring especially when he has a wonderful wardrobe of colourful outfits... Isa is beautiful in her bright pj's

Very nice Sew Grands picture this morning; Yes, we can see Isa is bigger than Bram, but good things come in small packages,or so I have heard. Smallest daughter keeps saying that to us, so we all can believe it!!

Mirabelle, good progress report! I am still working on PC rows, have five rows done to join together, and other five in progress of sewn or to be sewn, ready to set the rows together across the width of the day bed.

Winter is in its last hurrah across the land; news said we got two to four inches, but it looks like more than that. So glad we had cancelled our outing to celebrate our anniversary. Tomorrow is soon enough to dig out of the snow drifts and snowfall. (We need our haircuts!) After Wednesday, our nighttime temps stay above 30 degrees...almost garden time!! And day time is in the high 40s and it hits the 50s here. Have to journey to get the chickens, ducks and guineas more feed on Wednesday; their cupboard is bare. No time for the 'want too', just the 'have too' to do list.
