I have found that the longer the pieces are the more apt the curves will pucker. Just my personal experience

I really love your Aussie camp - just missing my home on wheels!! Makes me want to take a trip to the other side of the world. -

Hi all...absolutely beautiful quilts are coming together here. M-Fay, I love your Australian quilt...it makes me want to come visit. Everyone is so creative.
I've finally finished my sunset (1st row) and have begun laying out the water...squares are all cut and I've I begun sewing half square triangles. Anyway, here's a current photo of the finished sky.

    dotcom, looking good.
    m-fay, great campfire scene.
koriana, your sunset is so vibrant!! Those half square triangles add so much motion.

Have you all seen those amazing pictures of the volcano in Chili. Do you look at them and wonder how you could do that in fabric?

Elisabrat u come up with the best ideas.
Have been out of pocket since 1st of year with no internet. Will really be connected after May 15th. Two new grandchildrenin separate families so having to travel a lot to help. Have done some appliqué to keep hand in sewing. May do this later, but have several projects ahead.
I really love everyone's projects. So creative!!

Finally got the three rows together. Did a lot of adjusting and waving. Will embroider or machine sew some grass around and below the fences. Have three "embroidered" beach chairs that will be put on after quilting the beach. Not sure if I will add anything else. Will work on my top sun next.
