Here in Central Illinois we had our big group leave about 10 days ago. Now we are just getting 2-3 each day. We assume these are the migrating birds heading south. We always leave our feeders out at least 2 weeks after we see our last one just in case there are any stragglers!

Just saw a couple yesterday - thinking maybe I should refill the feeders?

Mine have been gone for over a month. It seems like they really left early.

Ours left about 2 weeks ago....hummingbird websites say leaving feeders out will not keep them if it is time to go, I believe it is the daylight length that triggers the hummers to travel. This years we had 3 coming to our feeder and if I sat real still, I could sit on the porch about 8 feet away, how thrilling. Located in OKC.

We had them up until a week ago. It's been a very mild fall with just one frost so far. Some of my flowers are still going strong, but most got hit with that frost.

The last date we saw a hummingbird drinking from our feeder was Sunday, 10/16/11.
