And I read that she's moved here to Austin, TX. I've not seen her around or at any guilds, but that doesn't mean anything :)

That's the rumor mill hard at work!

I wonder if I'll ever have time to make quilts and things out of all this fabric I have, and keep buying more!!!!

or when looking for a puppy, you know the right one when you see it. That happened when I got both my great danes.
My DH and I are a 'love at first sight, so I can tell you that when we met, I took one look at his bright blue eyes, lopsided grin, and the blush for knocking on my door by mistake, and saw a man who melted my heart. Who knows what he saw, but here we are, almost six years later, and I still feel the same way!

i used to wonder why my son didn't have any common sense - then i realized it's LEARNED sense - you're not born with it! those of who are older had to learn stuff at a younger age than my children did.

My grannie had a size 5 foot and a size 6 1/2, she had to buy two pair, and tried to give the ones she could use away!?
I believe there is an organization and website that helps one-footed people swap shoes.

I wonder what hurricane force rainfall it would take to make DH put the windshield wipers on "steady" instead of "intermittent".

I wonder why some people change personalities when they get behind the wheel of a car.

9 times out of 10, when I'm backing up and someone drives up, they swerve around me instead of waiting for me to finish backing up. Same applies to people on foot, they can see me better than I can see them, but they will continue on.

Or you're driving the speed limit and they just have to pass you, get in front of you, then make a right turn. What's with that?

That's me. When they sit looking directly into your eyes, not blinking, just staring....what ARE they thinking?
