Neesie, you can use coupons at JoAnn's for scissors. Of course, that depends on whether or not you have a JoAnn's near you. Regardless of where you get them from, they are wonderful scissors to have.

My nearest JoAnn's is well over half an hour away and usually pretty disappointing. The past several times I've gone there, I couldn't find anything I wanted to buy. Seems whenever they have a good coupon, they put most of their good stuff on 'sale' so that the coupon can't be used. Their 'sale' prices are pretty pathetic and seem to only serve the purpose of excluding the item/fabric from being eligible for coupon use. All in all, I only go there if I'm truly desperate. :thumbdown: |
Nessie, I agree with you about JoAnn's and their coupons. I go in figuring I can really pick up some stuff I need with coupons only to find out the items I want are on sale and can't use the coupon. My closest JoAnn's is more than and hour away.

I just saw a video on facebook about some "favorite tools" TOTALLY gave me something to think about with some of my items that I have, and KNEW they would be helpful with sewing, and embroidery but I just wasn't quite sure in which way. Mainly the rubber ends of the seam fix, and the "hook". I went to Harbor Freight several years ago and found a package of 3 hooks, each hook was different, I KNEW they would work for something. I already use the hair ties, so that is not a new idea for me. I have been coveting those double bent scissors for a long time just haven't bought them. I am going to buy them NOW. I just received my order from Shoppers Rule today.
Got the 3 pair of embroidery scissors, and the "fussy cutter" ruler. All I can say at this time is SUPER WOW!!!!!!!! love the scissors. Can't wait to try the ruler either. |
