Crqltr, what a clever idea. I had not thought of gift tags on burlap. Oh no, something else to try!

Qn4e - Thanks for thinking of me. :)
I have been doing ok I guess. Working 40 hour weeks since October, and wondering when my boss is going to boot me back down to 16 hour weeks. Haven't done much in the way of sewing or embroidering and I DO need to get busy as the lil man will be here in a couple months. I DID embroider some FSL book marks over the weekend, need to get them rinsed and finished.

Yay it did it! I embroidered this for my secret pal Jan this month. Can't remember where I got the design from, it may have been cuteembroidery.com

I have a Janome 350E, just got it last October and haven't dont a whole lot on it yet. I just finished a hummingbird quilt that's on another thread. My DH got me magnahoops for Christmas, so now I can try to put something on the pashima scarves I found. I'm still looking around to see what editing software I want to use.

Crqltr thanks for directing me to the picture of your tag. The design was perfect on the burlap and really has me thinking its time to expand my embroidery uses.
Quiltnut4ever, all the best to your lovely young couple. |
Ania755 ... I don't have the Janome, but I have a Husqvarna and I bought the hoop with the magnets ... LOVE LOVE LOVE it ... so much easier to move the fabric / quilt around and get that perfect placement without having to take it out of the hoop again! And when you are doing continuous borders, just slide that baby up, and slap on those magnets and hit start!!!
