2016 Fabric Moratorium

I guess it would depend on how many kits you have lined up but haven't started yet. I'd say if I had 5 I'd have to start counting them because I'm so slow they would become UFO's before I was done with them. But I think this is one of those decisions everyone has to make for themselves.

Welcome back, Martina. Was wondering if you ran into any row-by-row while visiting. There was this recent post:

Regarding any row-by-row purchases, I would consider them more of a souvenir than fabric purchases!

Yeah Martina's back!
I like that logic for the row by row.
Altraiss annoyance at not finding what I need in my stash has happened to me a few times. I look at my stash and it's like really nothing will work?!

i have the urge to go to my local stores and buy more row by row kits. My car is wanting to take a little toad trip. Lol. Thank-you everyone for responding to my question of the day.

I fell off the wagon but I couldn't resist $2 a yard for nice quilting fabric. I added about 22 yards of fabric. I bought knits for a charity group also but I will be reimbursed for those and then I bought backing fabric for the charity group. The knits and backing fabric are packed and ready to be delivered within the week.
I have been using up fabric in baby and adult quilts but not as much as I am buying. . It sure is fun though and the fabric sale today was a church youth group fundraiser.
Each piece of fabric was folded and rolled in a bundle and marked with a colored piece of card stock type of paper. There were charts around the selling area with coordinating pieces of paper on them and the price for that color. It sure made it easy to buy and know your cost. The sellers had a deal today-for every $15 spent, $5 was reduced from the price. That's the main reason so much fabric came home with me.

Connie- I'm thinking that since it was for a youth fundraiser it doesn't really count as a fabric purchase....
Martina- Welcome back
Altraiss--I get annoyed anytime I have to leave my stash LOL

I'm helping our neighbor out after the death of his quilter wife...he didn't know where to begin...I've been sorting and have brought home fabrics for QOV group, church sewing circle, and a few pieces for my sister's project Linus sewing...so tempting to add her pretty fabrics to my stash...folks, I need quite a hand so not to add to my stash....still have more fabrics to sort through...books, patterns, and notions are done.
