We have spoken to manager who said not much he can do they don't make them at his store they come that way. We can return them if unopened but Joann's is 31 miles each way so we just throw in scrap basket. I do not buy from them anymore except batting. Batiks last month were $12.99 and my LQS they are $10.99.
Remember if you buy from the smaller shops it helps keep them in business.

My last visit to JoAnn's resulted in three short cuts. Only knew because a woman who watched the cut told me before I went to the cashier. I had to have every inch, so I went back to get cut again. Was pleasant, but firm. Manager became involved and she was not supportive. I told her that I would not complete the purchase, just left the cut material - local Beverly's has close enough and will honor the coupon.
And I did write a letter, invoking the local District Attorney's office Consumer Fraud unit, and copied the DA'S Office. Did get an answer from corporate, and the DA. No fraud occured since the transaction was not completed, so no action.
