I am not a collector but can see how I might become one. Those little FW are so cute. I will be keeping my eyes open for one. Those littleguys will sure last longer than our computerized machines, I would guess. Mary M

I think I read on here somewhere that Billy was able to weld some of the machines that had cracks. I'm sure he will answer your post as soon as he reads it.

Yep I can weld it back up, but the machine will need to be refinished for sure after a burn most of the paint or Japan off of it.

Yeah I can feel your pain on that one. And we both can relate to the poor 99 that is sitting on my work bench right now.

I am looking at 2 treadle sewing machines. I am told that one is a model 127 G9790523, the other one is a model 66 G4025863. Both appear to be in good working condition and about the same price. Which one is more desirable? I do plan to use the machine.

Depending on your needs or desires I should say. The 127 is a Vibrating Shuttle which to me is a soothing machine to use. The 66 is more of a modern drop in bobbin type of a machine and the machine is a lot smoother when it operates. I love both machines and it would be hard to chose just one of them. But I use my 66 more than the 27 I have.
