Perfume, do you wear it.

A couple of things I've noticed about people wearing perfume and I do wear a little, I mean a LITTLE.
You know when a car passes you driving 50 mph and you can smell their perfume through closed windows, they might have on to much.
When you have to wash your clothes after hugging someone, they might have on to much.
When you sit next to some one and have to fan to breathe, they might have on to much.
So what are your thoughts?

i make my own cologne, not perfume, takes different chemicals, but i rarely wear it, it attracts yellow flys, misquotes and nats in the summer, and is often overwhelming, at the saturday market i do everyone seems to wear patchouli, it smells great i guess, but i am allergic to it, and my face turns red, then they think they have offended me, i just want to say, no you just smell to much, lol. i wear a lime, grapefruit citrus scent, in the summer and a sandalwood in the winter, but it is very very light and almost cannot be smelled, in fact only small children and men can notice it, but then again i do not use shampoo that has a scent and rinse my clothes in vinegar, less bugs that way,

You are totally RIGHT...... I always wonder that ,they didn't take a bath and bathed in perfume lol lol lol
I wear a very light amt....but always have someone asking what I'm wearing......Clinque..aromatics elixer......
I don't think that everyone can wear the same perfume,either...

I only wear fragrance for dressing up, and only a little bit then. I wear the kind you dab on, rather than spray, so it's hard to go overboard. My fiance never wears cologne, and I'm fine with that.
Most people who wear it wear waaaaaay too much, and then I just imagine that they haven't showered in days and they're trying to cover up their BO. Kind of ruins the image for me. ;)

ooo I wear it everyday...different one depending on my mood in the morning.
They are generally pretty light but I do get compliments often.
Funny when I wear a certain citrus lotion though it drives them nuts looking for the dessert.

Recently, on a flight, I and several people in the rows around me started coughing and sniffling. Finally figured out it was perfume an elderly woman, in a seat across the aisle, was wearing. I didn't want to offend her but, when she said something about so many people coughing, as kindly as I could, told her it was probably her perfume and that she might avoid wearing it the next time she flew. She took it well and actually went into the restroom to wash it off. Lo & behold, we all started breathing better. Nice lady. Hated to say something.
