Well, you just made me feel really good. I bought a 15-125 off craigslist a few days ago. I had never heard of them before. I was looking for a 15-91 when I came across a picture of a cute green sewing machine. I didn't know anything about the 15-125 & posted pictures (with questions) before I bought it on this board. Thank goodness for this board and the Vintage Sewing Machine Shop. They gave me enough info to go out & look at it. It worked like a charm. I have it at a repair shop now to be cleaned, oiled & greased. I can't wait to get it home & sew with it. So...the 15-125's are out there. I paid $60 for mine & even adding the $65 to get it serviced I think I got a good deal.

Hello all, I have a singer 347 with serial number EY157328. Checked the singer date site and can't find the manufacturer date. It is baby blue and in great condition. Says made in Great Britain. Any help?

Hi HazelJane,
I have both the 201 and 15-90 in treadle cabinets.
I'm a quilter and have found that the 201 is wonderful for piecing quilt blocks and straight line quilting, not so much for free motion quilting. FMQ with the 201 isn't a fun experience, I get lots of skipped stitches and its just a bad idea. The 201 is the smoothest, quietest machine I've ever sewn with.(I have a herd of machines)
The 15-90 is great for piecing,free motion quilting and straight line quilting. I've done FMQ for years with a modern machine(Bernina) and its got a Singer 15 bobbin configuration basically.

You done good!!! The machine sorta looks like a Singer 99
clone, I hope it works. The fabric is great too!

I have a machine just like yours. I bought mine at a flea market sale for $20.00. It is the clone to a Singer 99 so if you need a manual look up Singer 99. I have done a lot of quilt pieceing and making doll clothes on mine. I have several machines and this one is a keeper. Hope you enjoy yours as much as I do mine. Bye the way you got yours at a great price.
