See the back of the machine and where the motor is? that looked just like the cooking pots from days of yore and thats how they got the name "Potted Motor".

Well, you can have some of mine. We set records for April, and came close to records for all months, and let me tell you it rains here a LOT in a typical April. However, we'll be in a drought by July. Love this KY weather.

Glad to hear so many of the regulars are checking in so that
we know everyone on the QB survived all these storms.
Even had some here in Ontario around us.

Re: My "new treadle" Singer model 128 There is a hole beside my thread holder as if another thread spool shold be there. A 1910 machine didn't hold 2 spools so what should be in that hole????
Need to buy bobbins, feet and other stuff too after I get it cleaned.
