My DH made me laugh today. My DB came to visit, I had digitized out an embroidery design for him (he helped me by bringing me a new/old lap top that would work with my software (it doesn't like the new computer upgrades!) Anyways, I sewed that out for him and then I hemmed a pair of pants. Since I was just on the Janome machine anyways, I switched back to regular sewing, pushed the blind hem stitch button and started sewing. Here's the funny part - my DH came into the room to see what was making all the noise - my older machines are so much quieter!

Well of course I DO, but it is buried under a mound of machines and other stuff. I don't remember it being signed that way, and I'm having back issues, so it will be a while before I can get to it.

Holly, You may want to become a member of Treadleon if you haven't already. Someone there may just have all the information that you seek on Raymond machines. I don't think anyone here owns one, unless Ms. Johnny or Cathy do. I think there was once one person posting on the QB that had a Raymond, but I can't remember who that person is right now. Most likely there will be someone on Treadleon that can come to your rescue with a wealth of info and possible parts. I always just google for info, and then I get lost reading soo many websites. Have fun cleaning that machine up!

This was my lucky day. Pat and I went out to eat and then stop by our favorite antique shop. I came home with a complete set of attachments for the my 319 including the plates and three needles in the original singer packet for 206x13 needles. It was only 4 bucks. I was a happy camper today. Thanks to Miriam I now scan do anything the manual says I Can.:thumbup:

I picked up a dreadful looking Singer 500 this afternoon. Head shaking. The lady said this one was her mother's. Ya sure. She just got out of church, too. That machine had a straight sew foot, no other attachments, no disks, no manual, light hanging half off, hinge pin gone, top door falling off, the stitch selector is always messed up, the throat plate lever rusted out, bad cords, runs slow, paint blistering, no case, no cabinet and so on............ She is going to need some TLC to say the least.
