Billy

This is what I'm afraid of. I'm going into the hospital next week for heart surgery and will be in there for at least 5 days and I just know I'm going to get really far behind on reading everyone's updates. But at least it will give me something to do while I'm recovering.

Hope every thing goes ok for you next week. See you back on here real soon

:-)

Billy, thank you for answering me so quickly. I am so excited, I have wanted a treadle for a long time. I am now on my way to see if I can find an instruction manual! I don't want to mess with the machine until I find some help! I just found out that I should be able to purchase an instruction manual for the vintage treadles at my quilt shop!

Thank you!

Nancy

Does any one out there know where to get the cable for the white treadle machines that raises the machine when you raise the lid. Local hardware stores don't seem to have any thing that small.

You can find most of the manuals free online.

Has anyone every heard of a

G. Voigt Altona-Hamburg sewing machine ?

BTW: it doesn't pay to stay away from the cafe for more than a day... every time I do, 10,000 pages get added. Hmmmm.....

Great idea. Love antique machines. I have a 1907 Singer that was my granny's, moms and now mine. Mom's and my wedding dresses were made on "Ole Jenny".
