Vintage Sewing Machine Shop.....Come on in and sit a spell
Here is my Mother's Pfaff 130 in her new permanent home! This cabinet is so cool because the whole front comes out and it is a chair with 2 drawers in the chair! I can keep all the 130's attachments with the machine! She is set up in my sewing room where she should be along with my 319w treadle and my 1222e Pfaff (which is my first sewimg machine)!
Thank you Cathy for the help and the hinges! I will return the unused hinges when I pick up the mocha machine!

Nancy, your machine looks sew nice in its new home. Glad you were able to get the hinges.
Nancy, what a beautiful home for your mothers beautiful machine! Persistance, perseverance pays off. I wish I had have your knowledge on where to find parts, and a hubby who shared in restoration/fixation of cabinets. My husband is a carpenter but no mechanic. He could shore up a wobbly cabinet for me, but never configure a new hinge to fit something old. LOL! But he's put up with me 25 years next month, so I'll try to keep him around another 25. LOL! (However, if I bring one more sewing machine into the house, this could be it!!!)

Yep, we are very fortunate to have Cathy, who hosts the TOGA's here, to get parts from! She is great with machines and has a vast accumulation of parts!

And, Thank you Bennett and Monica and Trish! The reason I wanted this cabinet is because it is so compact and has a chair right in the cabinet! Because my sewing room is also a guest room at times with the Murphy bed, I have to have cabinets in there that don't eat up a lot of space. Having the chair tucked away so neatly, instead of sticking out in the way is a real plus! Besides, I have extra storage with the 2 large drawers in the chair so I am going to use that chair for all the Pfaff attachments for Mom's 130, my 1222e, my Grand Quilter Hobby 1200. Besides, that chair is actually comfortable to sit on and sew!
I wish I could put a few of my other treadles in there too, but that would mean I'd have to give up my HQ 16 Long Arm with its 10.5 foot table! I am not ready to do that yet!

Nancy, I love that cabinet too! Mom's machine looks wonderful in it...do you use that machine much?
Nancy, your machine and cabinet looks great. I have two of those in the garage that need to have the machines cleaned and fixed up. On has few pieces missing from the machine. I have not started on fixing the Pfaffs. I figure I will learn on the Singers that are cheap and plentiful.

Nancy, the cabinet that you've restored for your Mom's Pfaff is gorgeous, Happy New Year to everyone, I've miss you gals and guys. Hope that you all had a lovely holiday and looks like a few of you were blessed with some nice finds. I do have to get all caught up around here, I've been lost in America and haven't had a chance to stick my nosey head in and say a peep or two. I'm found and when I get a chance I'll post pics of my little FW that I pick up in the ATL, GA. Looking good Nancy, once again Happy New Year.
