Vintage Sewing Machine Shop.....Come on in and sit a spell
Well, apparently I am the proud owner of a Singer treadle. My SIL found one at a good price and bought it for me. I do have to go get it, about a 6 hr drive. The only thing I know, for sure, about it, is it is missing the belt. How hard is it to replace and can you even get belts??

I've only had it a couple of weeks, and so far only sewn on military uniforms, but it is soooo nice. I love it!

I have the HV Sapphire 875, love my machine!! Its built on the same chassis as the Ruby. I used the floor model Designer Ruby to quilt a baby quilt at work , it was kinda fun to listen to customers being impressed that it could do that.

The Ruby will mainly be used for embroidery, and some military stuff. I plan to get cozy with some of my vintage machines here soon to make some stuff for the house. I have a mid-arm machine for quilting, though it has not yet been used. My mom gave it to me, and its sat in the box. Now that I have room to set up the frame I hope to put it to use!

Belts are available anywhere for under $10. You will have to fit it to your machine. My LQS has them.
