you should try a mini me jr - i think its going to be so much fun.
the green optical illusion is about 5 feet square.
the tute i'll be making for the optical illusion is about 25 inches square.
then you can connect as many of them together as you like.
the one i'm working on is 4 panels, so thats 50 inches, set on point in the center.
then i'll put a border around it, followed by 1/2 optical panels to square it off.
then another border or 2 - i'm aiming for somwhere between 6-7 feet in size.

are you going to do a tute on the green one or the kaleidiscope one?
i think i could make a mini-me easier by hand than the other one on the machine.
if i did mini-me, i would like to use the asian fabrics like yours.
love your colors

its going to be like the green one but smaller with a slightly different layout.
the green one is off center while the tute one i'll be doing is more of a centered design.
i love japanese indigo fabrics - they play so nicely in any quilt design and with any fabrics.
they have a unique ability of reading as both a feminine type fabric as well as a masculine type fabric.
i love paisley fabrics for the same male/female elements.

I am definitely going with Confetti Jane. If it gets turned into a UFO (dear God please NOT another one!) then it'll get called "Confetti Jane Goes Bust."
