Misty!

Did your Mom say you could break your hand?!?!?!

(Whenever I hurt myself, my Mom would say, "did I say you could do that?" I must confess the first couple of times I thought she was serious. . it did distract me from the pain for a while. Plus, I think she got a kick out of seeing the puzzled look on our faces!)

DR,

It can't be too hard. They even let men sign up. And you know what that means... it's gotta be simple.

I've been lost so long, if I ever found me I wouldn't know where I was.

Here's the greatest thing about our BOM. You CAN'T mess up. You don't have to make any of the blocks you don't like. You post your finished block if you want to. You don't have to mail it to anybody. You can build a quilt; make a lot of pillows; or some of the fanciest dust rags around. ALL up to you.

Have Fun with it. Have Fun with it. Have Fun with it.

BOM is a way to get us to challenge ourselves and improve our skills of sewing, color combinations and construction, while having fun and seeing how others meet the challenge. Each block will teach us something new, and when we get done, we will know a little more about each other and ourselves, and maybe have a beautiful, but at least, interesting quilt to show off.

BOY! Have I learned this the hard way. It is like the old saying you don't know what you have until it is gone. Tee Hee.

When I seen the first part of your message I was like what? I don't even remember my mom. She died when I was very young.

Misty, next time use your foot to get that husband to behave, they can take it better than your hands/wrists! LOL Take care of it, it must be hard to talk with one hand tied up.

Sorry to hear about the hand. Can't imagine what that must be like, but hope it mends real fast. All of your moms/sisters are rooting for you
