Thanks Bonnie...I used 1 1/2" strips and sewed 10 10 1/2" strips to make a 10" finished block..so it finished 50 x 60..really got rid of a lot of odds and ends for me. Plan on throwing it in the car as mrOK loves a cold car in the summer!

I love climate control in both cars; Mr NSM has it hot and I like it cold. I forgot yesterday was our anniversary until son reminded me this morning. I wil copy the picture and post it later...from last year. 51 years yesterday. Wow. Makes me feel old indeed, but happy.
Love the quilt OK. Nice find SBG.
Rainy cold day here, but we really need the rain. Take care everyone.

Congratulations Sue!!!! I remember all your preparations for your 50th! 51 years is a lotta good years. (Alright, I know that there had to be a few bad years but there must have been a lotta god ones too. ) Congratulations again!
OK, I just love your Lego quilt! I would love to make one of these!

What a great family picture, QNS. I see one of your sons must be the family prankster! And there's your glorious quilt on the wall behind you... Was that the first FW quilt?
Congrats on your 51 years together! We are coming up on 32...

From left to right is Son-in-law Rick, our daughter Cindy. Behind Ciney is our son Shawn and in front of her is our lonly grandchild, Michael. Then Jerry and I, fat and sassy. Yes, that was the first FW quilt, the Farmer's Wife Sampler quilt that we did together on QR board. Second is waiting for the binding, and third to have the blocks joined together and quilted on a long arm.
I got a lovely card and note from GrannyQ today. It came in a bright orange envelope that felt like the sun had peeked through the clouds on a rainy day. So wonderful of her and enjoyed the note she sent to me. She is following along with our comments and quilting some again. Some day, we will have to get together, we are really not that far from one another....and she shops at Cantril, Iowa, too!
Thanks for all you kind words. Have a wonderful day...and week.

Just got home from work today after a late night...14 quarts and 6 pints of 'mergency meat! Yes I am tired.
And a shout out to GrannyQ, thanks for sharing your message, QNS..

Awww - great family photo QNS!!!
What a blessing family is! We had a Memorial Golf Tournament today in memory of two Paternal Uncles, and one Aunt - all golfers. We had 65 people golf at the tournament, with the proceeds going to two $1,000 scholarships at local high schools. This is the 5th year this has been put on, and in some cases is the only time I get to see my many cousins on my dad's side. The only trouble is the 7:00 a.m. check in time! Oh my, was I wasted after getting up so early, then playing in the tournament. They have a great catered lunch afterwards. I had to take a nap by the time we got home. I am very much a night person, so having to be somewhere at 7:00 a.m. is very hard for me.
