As usual QNS finds just the right fabric and puts much meaning into each block

Bev...yes I understand about sisters...hoping she continues to improve.

givio that will keep the warm air from moving up! I have a curtain at the bottom of my basement stairs...I can feel the cold air descend when the front door is opened in the winter time...at least keeps the chill off the feet when I am in the office or sewing.

First the good news. #1DSis has been fever free for over 48hours. Second (the bad news) she has Staph Pneumonia. One Dr thinks that she must have some metal in her body & another Dr thinks she had the flue first that took so long for DS to get over that it brought her immune system so far down that the Flu developed into Staph Pneumonia. The ran MRI's today. She has 5 herniated disks & had to lay on an MRI table for 3 hours this morning & another 1 1/2 this afternoon. She had a bad day!!!!We will know the results tomarrow I think.

Patty Wagner, ( on Deerwood) your Stack n Whack Quilt Top is done. You may pick it up this weekend or Monday. Since the Lazer surgery on my eyes, I can see again and I finished it first before moving on to other projects.

From Laura A Hird's Bible Sampler , three blocks are done: Evening Star:and the Tree of Life:and the redone Thunder and Lightning with clouds with a silver lining.

Givio, I like your idea and product quilt to stop air moving upstairs. Lovely job. Dublb, I hope you find your sister in better health on your visit.

The Stack and Whack quilt is gorgeous, QNS!

Bev, so sorry for all your sister's troubles. 5 herniated discs! What do they plan to do about that?

QNS I love your S&W! It is just lovely! Blue is my favorite color. Your new blocks for the Bible sampler are lovely also! It's just gonna be a wonderful quilt!

I am back in Brady. DSis's news is progressively getting worse. First, the MRI's did reveal that she has septic arthritis in her neck. She most probably will be in the hospital for at least 6 weeks. They were gonna drain the knot that is where they found the septic arthritis but both DR's thought that the other one sent in the orders. So this test won't happen till tomarrow. They ran another CAT test today & found lesions on her lungs. They are gonna test for TB. She has been sent to an isolation room at the hospital. I don't plan on going back till Wed though.

Thanks everyone on the comments about the quilt and blocks.

Praying for your DS, Dublb. Hope they can fix what is wrong.

We were back in the ER yesterday late afternoon. DH had to have the catheter put back in, he had backed up so much it was terrible. Will be seeing a specialist tomorrow morning at 8:30 am so we will rise st 6 am to make the appointment. See what he says that we need to do next.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone. It will be a quiet one for us, but have lots of memories of past ones.

I'm sorry to hear your hubby is having trouble again. Praying the docs can get him healthy again.

Happy Thanksgiving to you too, QNS and everyone!
