It is 9.45pm New Years Eve here and I want to wish all of you a Happy and Prosperous New Year. The house is quiet, DH is not home until Wednesday and it has been raining all day here, we have had almost 5 inches of rain today
Will catch up with you all in 2013

OK...it's nice to hear from you. The towel is so cute and the mud room so full! Busy, busy, busy. Take a deep breath and enjoy the quiet. No one bothers you when you're bookkeeping I'll bet.
Honchey...glad you found the fabric that you like for the BB. Did you see we have clues today and tomorrow for the mystery quilt? Safe travels.
Mirabelle...I won't trade your weather. Hot and humid are not my liking. I know how to deal with snow! I worked with scraps yesterday so I didn't have to concentrate on what I was doing while I watched the last quarter of a football game. I have to press the strip sets today and cut to size to see how many more I need. I think I have just about enough. What size strips do you commonly use?
Bonnie posted clue 7 today and the blocks are starting to take shape. Clue 8 tomorrow for the grand reveal. Guess what I want to do today? I'll see what happens. Corned beef on the stove so cooking is easy.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!
If I have it calculated, MiraB has already seen the New Year arrive!!
And the rest of us still have several hours before the clock strikes.
For me, I'll be long in bed ........ unless I "sew" the New Year in, making your BBs?
What a grand year it's been ... and I'm looking forward to what 2013 brings.
WHY? because each of YOU have been a vital part to this past year and I am sure you will continue to be in the New Year.
All the Best of Blessings to EVERYONE ... for a year filled with many delights, surprises and much health and happiness!

One of the benefits of being around the campfires here, have been the recipes we've shared.
And they weren't all cookies!!
If you're looking for something differentand easy to make .... try CarrieM's Carrot Casserole!!!
I made it last night for supper, and I can see why it's a hit at the CarrieM household.
I will confess, I did make a change ... I used more onions and added some mushrooms to the mix!!. Then put skinless boneless chicken breasts on the bottom of a flat baking dish and topped it off with the Carrot Casserole mixture. Made for a good filling one pot meal!
Thanks CarrieM for sharing!! ... and I can see this will become a go-to for easy supper cooking while I stitch away.
And too, for me, that means leftovers ... for more good eats on other sewing days!
Happy New Year! ... again!

Thanks to all of the PC possee for letting me ride along this year. You've held me accountable, pushed me to learn new skills, celebrated with me when appropriate, and let me into your lives to laugh, love, and cry with you all. I'm looking forward to what this next year will bring. More beautiful stitching to share with wonderful virtual friends.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!

New Years Day here and no sore head
Gardnergal I don't use strips over 2 inches wide and nothing smaller than 1 inch. DH is home tomorrow so today is housework (yuk) and I have 2 cushions to finish, will post pics later today if I get to them
