I've been gone camping with my church group over the weekend and I see there is a lot going on!
Carrie...so happy you enjoyed Threads and stopped in again. They have expanded their sewing machine line but it seems that they are reducing their fabric inventory. They still have gorgeous fabrics!
Mirabelle....I hope the BF is as nice as he sounds. That will change the family picture considerable with a ready made GD. She looks so sweet on her new quilt.
OK...such skill! Those little blocks can look wonky faster than bigger ones but it looks like they've had a carpenters square used in them. I've seen signs of some corn being harvested for silage. How is it in your neck of the woods?
Jeanie...the final push to have your house all in order and enjoy it. Glad you had a safe trip to see your family.
QuiltE...wherefore art thou?
Dubib...is the other house in the market yet? I like the idea for a design wall. It can never be big enough.
QNS...this is the week for the cataracts isn't it? Just follow Dr's instructions but give honest feedback. A friend here didn't get immediate results but with good care and patience, she is seeing well now.
Anael...so hope you get good news today. This has been a trying year in your life!
GrannyQ...and for you too.
JanRN...hummmm....how are you adjusting to retirement? Are you wondering yet how you ever found time to work?
Janie...thanks for the shout out from UK. Hope you will have pictures to share.
Honchey....still scooting around? Have you decided for sure on surgery?
My toe is definitely better but I can still tell it needs more healing, especially when I accidentally bend my foot without thinking about it. I want to clean up the garden this week....keep a happy DH!...and so many pretty things to work on in my sewing room. I did sweep the floor before I left and the design wall is empty. Fresh start today! Have a good one everyone!

j this Pony Club was loosely formed when we started the Farmer's Wife Pony Club sampler following Laurie Hird's book. This is the thread where we show our finished quilts and then lots of chatter among a few of us who have gotten to be good QB friends. Since I'm still working on my PC quilt I guess the rest are still waiting to see a "TA DA" picture from me!!
Ah Anael--thought the pawprints were for KK!
Thanks GGal--it's really not that hard (small piecing) I know how beautifully you all sew so you could do it! Only thing worse than a sore toe is a sore thumb! And both stick out! Going to do garden work as well today. DH has been chopping silage on a daily basis here as we are out of silage and haylage. A busy week ahead as there is haylage to make and he'll soon be chopping for the bunker. Warm late summer has helped and hindered crops here. We needed the heat units for the corn; but the beans suffered by not filling the pods out. A nice 2 inch rain a week ago sure helped that. No control over the weather so we just go with the flow!
Have a great day everyone.

OK, I think she would shred it, she's trying to unsew one of my quilttops pinned to the wall too
I will get the results of all tests on Thursdaymorning, so I still don't know what's going to happen.
Bram has to go to hospital tomorrow to see the doc because he isn't eating enough lately. Otherwise he looks ok, he's such a friendly little boy. Isa is doing ok, she's ahead of Bram in development, she's beginning to try to crawl. She hardly talks and Bram is very chatty
Do you remember the soft toy Bram and Isa had in their incubators? I saw that toy again two weeks ago. It was in Bram's bed beside him. I was shocked how small they both were as that toy once was as tall as Bram was and now........it really is beyong imagination.

Wonderful to hear how the twins are growing; will be thinking of Bram and you this week, Anael. Wednesday, I will go and get my eye 'measured' for the cataract surgery...hope they schedule it very soon.
As for my embroidery project, Mirabelle, and all the others who encouraged me onward the first dozen blocks done....only 130 total to do and change the needle color twice with each block.

Wow, that is a good size room you have for the two of you, QNS! My room is so small in comparison. I bought about 6 yards of fabric while in Phoenix. They have this place that always has a huge rack of name brand fabrics on sale for $3.95 a yard. Just cannot pass that sale up! Now wonder how I'm going to fit it into the IKEA cabinet I store my fabric in! LOL
