Row By Row Experience ... I was in an LQS today that is part of this and had a sneak peak of their row! Also, saw the free kits for the July Shop Hop.
Honchey ... here's to a fun month!
CarrieM ... is your Connie's in the Row by Row?
MiraB ... you can live vicariously thru us ... and sit at home and make the Rows while we are out Hopping!
W4Me ... I'm surprised too, that it is totally free too. I think last year was such a fiasco and they got so much negative feedback, that they got the message that they needed to up things a little if they wanted to get a following. The one LQS has told me several times that July is her biggest month, so she has no problems with the freebie. Certainly better we get these blocks ... than something we really do not want. Your Canada D'Eh! is even more impressive seeing it in the window.
MiraB ... *gasp* your stars are beautiful. What a special touch of the corner stars, twinkling away!
CarrieM ... a nice start to a new quilt!
To answer the question about the QOTS Minis ... yes, I have the first three months completed.
All from scraps, including the black that was triangle offcuts from an earlier quilt.
So has anyone else done them? ... please do share and show!

And now.... I am off to the sewing room, and hoping that it will be MUCH cooler there, than here!

Absolutely no clue as to what I will do with them!
For now, the plan is to just make them each month and see how they evolve.
And what inspiration might strike along the way.

I finished that li'le purse! I added handles ta it & used a big snap instead o' velcro. It sure looks very girley. My DGD will just love it! She will be 8 on Aug 1st. It'll be a great B-day present. I hope ta take a pict o' it tamarrow.

QE--I like your little blocks. No Connie's isn't participating in the Row by Row...I looked at the website and it doesn't look like there are any shops in Iowa doing it. Maybe because they all just got done doing the month long All Iowa Shop Hop?
Dublb--sounds like a fun project. I look forward to seeing a picture.

CarrieM ... that would make sense, that Iowa isn't part of it. It's the first year for Ontario. Looks like the only cost to the shops to be involved would be their pattern copies, so minimal. I commented that at the shop I was in yesterday and she gave me a song and a dance that there was all their design and development time! Well, OK!

You need to be on their regular email list. They pull the previous months from their system, so I will email it all to you. They finish at 4" .... so far they have been easy peasy to make. You'll have no problems doing them, just pick some fabric and go for it!
