Squiggly sashing fabric....selvage: P&B Boutique Veracruz by P&B Textiles www.PBTEX.com (http://www.pbtex.com/veracruz) If anyone needs more info, I will be at the quilt shop on Thursday and can get more details. The shop also does mail order. There is the white with squiggles/scribbles too.

Hi everyone, been so busy lately that I have not had much computer time.
I have been working on my challenge quilt for my retreat and got the final border on today, hopefully tomorrow I can start quilting it, less that 7 weeks to go and I have a whole weekend of non stop sewing
Carriem I love your quilt, great for a boy so bright and cheerful and your sashing is perfect

The yellow warms up the purple doesn't it? Reminds me of violets and pansies in springtime.
GD #2 has finished her sleep pants--I still can't get over the joy of watching her finish and seeing what she has created. I'm am such a lucky Gram. PS as soon as #3 gets hers finished will post a pic of all 3--#3 was barn person today.

Did anyone else get the news that Laurie Hird has a new book coming out next year? Is anyone else up for another sampler quilt!

Jeannie--I hadn't heard, but very well might consider it. May 2015 gives me some time to finish up other quilts in the meantime..

What exciting news Jeanie and Carrie! Yes, I went to the site and read more about it. Must put that on my list for then.
Carrie, you made a beautiful (handsome) quilt for your nephew. Like the slashing too, but cannot do it this month..we are running on savings, so its needs not any wants. Water heater broke the monthly budget. Just the facts of these days, one day at a time.
Mirabelle, another great quilt in your tally of wonderful quilts.
Honchey, what a wonderful experience you will have with GGS and daughter in law...visiting with you in NC. and showing them around the area.
Everyone have a good, good day. My day wil be whatever it will be, and I will be blessed with AC that works great!
