Oh JeanieG,
I'm such a bore .... it'll be the same dark green.
Just doing my backing calculations now and then will slice it up to stitch back together!

Wonderful accomplishment, QuiltE! It is beautiful and will help keep me after mine. I need about 35 more blocks but really have to concentrate on the quilts i need to have done by May/June right now. See you back in the pony possee.

Thanks Everyone!
Now to get back on the Pony Trail ... got my backing sewn together tonight. Then did the QB Mystery Clue that was posted today. So just have my BCS Mystery to catch up on ... but it's still 3 weeks away til the next Clue, so probably will let it sit a bit.

So Ponies ... here I come!
Yeeeehaaaaaaaaww!!!!!

In seeing the daylight photo, the gold c-stones and triangles add sparkle and contrast to the green. The two colors are just right for the whole quilt. Again, fantastic.

And they do have sparkle,
OKSGlad!!!!!! ... it's a tone on tone, realistic large leaf pattern with some gold metallic in it. I was really hesitant for it as the cornerstones as one might look white, the other black, as the tones went from a light beige/gold thru to a darkish brownish gold. The fusions I'd been playing with in the block pics, just seemed to brassy, so I went back to the same as the setting triangles ... and I'm quite happy with it.

Have you been thinking about your sashing/cornerstones etc.? I'm wondering what you might end up with?

I'm thinking a brown as my sashing and c-stones yet to be determined. Haven't touched it for a while and must get back to it. Spring's creeping up too fast here. Will soon need to begin the weekly lawn mowing ritual and there shoots a day a week until fall! I hate mowing-not as inspiring as working in the field. Bookwork day today.

Me too ... I hated lawn mowing ... if I was racing the machine at full clip, I could get it done in 7 hours! But that didn't happen too often, as meals had to be prepared, barn chores, field work, etc. We had too many trees to go around that it seemed to take forever going around them. RoundUp did a good job there though, to not have to go too close. It was just an always job ... and you never finished it up at once,

However, on a "perfect" weather day ... I enjoyed the "getaway" from the world as I cut the grass ..... and that was usually a time when I could take my time and go at a reduced pace!

And to think QNSue has already done her first grass cutting!

Brown and perhaps a beige for the cornerstones?
