Yum, love the mexican theme. Will see what I have that I can whip up to throw in the mix of goodies. Hey those Mexican Wedding Cakes are delicious. I know, a sweet, but yum.

Thanks I think I will use it. It feels like a very soft fleece fabric. It's thin too so not gonna be to heavy and can be used into the spring. I know this had nothing to do with the train but since it hasn't started yet I thought I could get your input.

Yeah. I'm ready to start. I did get my 3 blocks done from the table runner and decided to make 3 of holidays until it gets big enough to make full size.

Yep, that's me! Love piecing and making the tops, but not so much making it an actual quilt. I still have two of the mysteries to quilt but that isn't going to stop me from hopping on tomorrow's train.

Lynnie was meeting me tomorrow but snow is predicted. It's quite a drive from Lynnie to me in NYC.
If she comes, we can evaluate my stash. Being snowed in is fine with me. I've been hanging out with great teaching by Pat Sloan and Amy Gibson. Just sewing the binding on a Mystery top I made last year. Cheers to you Judy!

Ah, I don't think I can play this time because my dad has had a major stroke and sewing has been set aside for hospital visits. I will be watching tho, and hopefully enjoy a great ride through all the other riders.

Waiting.......... Breakfast tacos are made and in the warmer. As soon as the train pulls into the station I'll set them out in the club car. Hope Judy remembered to make coffee as its only 11 degrees here. Brrr!

It's 2 degrees here--I made my own coffee! See you on the train.

It's Saturday....and I forgot what time the train was leaving....so here I am on the train track ALONE.....

OK, I reread the first post...waiting for 9 o'clock CST. Guess I'll have time to start some laundry, pick up after the new puppy and tidy up a bit. Or I could do the first of the 2017 Sewing bee blocks. http://www.quiltingboard.com/blocks-...a-t284907.html So many choices, so little time.

I sure hope Judy gives us fabric choices and some cutting instructions today. I am eager to jump on the train and see something. Will it be 4 fabrics, or 5 or 6? Will it be scrappy or plain Jane? Well, it's only a bit over an hour & a half until the first clue goes up. "smile"

Edited to add....I am not alone. Belfrybat and AngeliaNR are waiting with me. Life is good!

As I read this I realize I am getting more dramatic as I write. Time to get back to Earth and calm down. No more coffee for me this morning!
