New Quilting Bee 2017
#157
I'm so glad to see everyone posting their blocks. There's such a variety of colors and all are awesome (as the kids say) lolo Delphina, you done good.. Zozee, I hope by now you have read your PM.. Glad to see you join in.
This goes for everyone, IF you don't feel like doing 2 blocks, that's not a problem. These are yours to keep, I just hope you'll try doing all the blocks, there will be some patterns that will be a bit more challenging. This is really a good way to learn different techniques.

I DID read your PM back to me, Jean, so thank you. I'm not as speedy as others here, and I'm getting a later start, so not sure about the 2 blocks this month, but I'll try! I needed this little nudge to try new blocks without the pressure of having them judged by a partner .

Wellll, since there's been so much interest in doing another block, here's another one for January. This might seem difficult or should I say 'challenging' for some, but don't let it daunt you, follow the directions and I think you'll make it. This link should take you right to the 10" block. Hope this is ok with everyone..Have fun. ;o)

BTW, I love the colour combinations I'm seeing in the blocks -- really neat.

I know how people get all the UFO. I have five scrap quilts going. I have in the past only taken on one quilt at a time. Well the winter doesn't look so long anymore. The new block looks fun. Happy Quilting!
