I am so happy to see all the great blocks, it seems everyone has enjoyed this. I've enjoyed seeing so many interested in joining in. Well, the NEW post for February has been posted under: HOME, BLOCKS of the MONTH & WEEK, NEW QUILTING BEE, FEBRUARY, 2017. The patterns for this month have also been listed, plus an easy way to make 8 HST at a time (for those not knowing how to do it).

Thanks Petunia...I did mine to try them out first so I've finished this month. Here are pictures:

I was able to find the size of the small HST in the second block by the size of the small square in the corner, since the directions didn't tell you how big to make them unless you wanted to cut on the bias. The other thing I did was the larger HST of the same square, I drew a line down the middle then put the two colors right side together and sewed on each side then cut. I can sometimes get them out of shape if I cut on a bias first. Hope this helps.
