Hi everyone. All the blocks are really nice and its good to see such a variety of colours and fabrics. Here is my second block - going to use the butterfly fabric in every block. Really looking forward to seeing where this goes.

What talented ladies. Love seeing the different colours and fabrics that every is using. I was all set to do the second block this weekend but have been fighting the flu and a cough and had to go home from work on Thursday and go to the doctor on Friday. He's given me antibiotics for a chest infection but I didn't have much energy over the weekend to sew. Hoping I can get my mojo back this week and get sewing.

Jacquie - Don't know if you read my intro to this project, but I labeled this huge tote of material as ugly only because no one in the guild wanted it after going thru the whole tote. Thank you for your kind remark.
OKsewnsew- I tend to agree, material that appears ugly has a whole total look when it is cut up, things you don't think will work just seem to. I am still not crazy about the solid red as it is a bit off of the floral, but I am going with it because I started with it. And I am just having fun with it all.
Chickadeee, love those and I am not a pinkish person. I know you said they were coral, but they appear pink. Looking good.
Diane- love the butterflies. Funny how the cut can make it look like two different materials.
I learn so much from all of you and get so many ideas.
