New Quilting Bee, August 2017
#151
I finished my jack in the box and the first extra block Plaid. I'll try working on the Crazy Anne block tomorrow (funny enough that is my MIL's name /giggle) I'll post pics tomorrow. I'm also branching out to some new things for the next arts and craft faires. I do dog accessories and one of them is a bow tie. Until now, they've been in cotton but now I'm trying leather! I hope it works well. I'm going to try my hand at leather collars too. It should be fun This is my stinky StringBean modeling his bow tie. Well, Carrot, this is how I do mine. I save my picture to the Desktop, then right clk on it and click PAINT...can resize in there...Just play with it to see which you like. I always save as, so if it isn't the size I want, can go back to original and try another size. I usually go for 25-35%. That's how I do it..

I was able to get my Jack in the box, Plaid and Crazy Anne block done. This sure is going to be a bright quilt. But, I guess that just means it's going to be a Spring/Summer.

This block was named correctly - it drove me crazy! I lost count how many times I took pieces apart or recut and took apart. It was just one block but I was determined to get it to the right size. It looked soooo easy, fooled me
