Lover's Knot? Yes... we could make it together. I'm pretty sure I have two copies of the book, so I could send one to Givio. It's such a pretty quilt.

You're right, scrappy doesn't look good. It would have to be scrappy in blenders of a color maybe? No, that's not the Lover's Knot I remember. I don't remember seeing this pattern before. I was thinking of something more like a Celtic knot.
Jeanie, are you going to make it too? In three colors?

That is the first pattern daughter made on her own...the lover's knot for a friends wedding. It turned out great! But she remained silent on doing it again! Guess I have made too many for her, and she has more than enough to use.

I have had a crazy week. It has been a yo-yo! I am still sad from losing DFGD. It was great to here that I now have a future DDILaw. The 4 to was nice as DD's family & her In Laws came over. Now #2DSon & DD have the same birthday (July 7.) They are 10 years apart. So He brought his fiance down so we could celebrate their birthday. That was so nice. They left early Thurs morning. Then around noon on Thurs I got a call from my BFF from High School's DH. She had died in her sleep Thurs morning. She was only 58.

Oh Bev, so sorry to hear of your friend's death. And the FGD... can you stay in touch with her?
Congrats on your son's engagement! Some happy news.

Jeanie, no rush on starting the Lovers Knot... enjoy your camping trip! We can talk about doing it when you get back. Meanwhile we can find fabrics we want to use. QNS are you tempted at all to join us? Anyone else?

SBG, any picture of your illusion quilt yet?

Bev, yes, it sounds like an up and down time for you. I'm sorry your friend died. Your high school friend was 58? I didn't know you are so young. Well, it's good to have new members in your extended family and nice you had a good visit.
