I can't believe you have such great vision...wonderful... Oh a juicy steak...great way to celebrate!

QNS,really glad you have your sight back now after your surgery. I'm kinda in the same mess right now, I have to have catarack surgery on the 9th of October, I'm sure getting tired of using a magnifed glass to read the paper. I'm having the right eye done first and then will see what happens after that.
It is nice to have your drivers license back. Glad you have had good luck with the surgery.
I haven't been on lately since the computer is getting harder to see and read.

GrannyQ Best of luck next week...you'll be back reading here in no time!

Good luck, GrannyQ. I know of several people who have had cataracts removed recently, and all are VERY happy!

I hope that ya have as good a result w/your cataract surgery as my DM did. She is so happy w/her's.

GrannyQ, good luck in your surgery. I had horrible fears before mine and found out how silly I was being...wondered why I waited so long to do it. I could see so much better immediately...and I had nothing to fear because it was so quickly done. Do let us know how it goes, we are all thinking about you.

Dr. said it was three years after mine that the film formed behind the artificial lens that caused my sight problems. It happens in twenty per cent of the patients. The twenty twenty is with glasses, and the left eye does't see much at all, but gives me depth precision to see to drive.

I was going just about everyday last week. This week I spent doing yard work & some painting window frames. Life has been busy. :)

QuiltingNinaSue 10-05-2017 05:25 AM

Dublb, its great when life is busy.

I have upset the whole house looking for the clog wheels (6 inches around 32 clogs) that completes sitting up the 1996 Z44 Grace hand quilter frame. QR is a mess stacked up everywhere so no sewing going on. The door is closed.

Company has been in and out, and more company. We leave on the 8th for DD and come back on the 19th. Cousin Mary and Robert are house sittin' and caring for our animals and fowls. DD has it altogether, so not taking much with us. Just going to enjoy seeing her and family and playing with grandson. Life is good, and I feel blessed. May yo all have a good week and weekend.

oops, wrong date; we come back on the 10th. They would kick us out probably if we stayed that long!LOL!

That's something to look forward to, QNS! Have a wonderful time at your daughter's...

Bev, hope you can slow down long enough to get in your quilting therapy.

I have a wonderful day at home today. Going to work on some business things and try to finish putting together my QAYG Friendship quilt. It's blocks from a local swap between all the girls in my quilting group. I forgot how quickly those go together once you have the blocks quilted.
