Thanks you all for your positive comments. I, too, am new to this brown color scheme. I've always liked brighter or blues. Somehow, right now, the caramel colors appeal to me. I am not sure how big a quilt I want to make... but hey, why limit my sights. King size would be really nice!

I think I am finally back. If I can just get rid of this cough I'd be fine. It's taken me a long time to get this to the point I'm getting it done. Here are the first six blocks. Well here are the next 6 blocks. Didn't take quite as long as the first six. I'm so excited about getting this done. It will make a wonderful change on my daybed and change the whole room.
