Found the camera, hiding under a pile of fabric:o best not to let DH know that I was blaming him:D:D but he wasn't home...

Here is my Album block from last week and also this weeks blocks.

I love these little Stamp Basket blocks, I could see a whole quilt made with them, any takers Anael:thumbup:

Anael 04-06-2014 09:57 PM

Gorgeous Mirabelle!!
And no, no basket quilt for me. I did have a hard time making that one block. Don't know why though, it's not that hard but I didn't get the points to match, measurements were off, I had to make another one to get it halfway right. But you can make a basket quilt :) :)

thimblebug6000 04-07-2014 07:49 AM

mirabelle, lovely blocks, that little basket one is really striking!

laurafet 04-07-2014 01:17 PM

Mirabelle, They all look wonderful!

laurafet 04-07-2014 01:25 PM

Love them all Mirabelle!

wump 04-07-2014 06:34 PM

Mirabelle oh those baskets are so cute and so bright. Going to let you do the whole quilt with them. Like the other blocks too. Kind of ashamed to post mine.

All of them are beautiful Karen!

thimblebug6000 04-11-2014 06:54 AM

Very nice! So happy to see everyone's block.... I'm going to retreat this weekend, and finally got my sling off on Wed. so really looking forward to getting mine caught back up!

Anael 04-11-2014 08:06 AM

Good to hear you got rid of the sling ! ! ! Now back to sewing :) Have fun at the retreat!

Karen G 04-13-2014 09:54 AM

I went to a retreat this weekend, too! Three ufo projects finished and one almost done. I got two April blocks done, too. will get pix when I get organized. I want to do a bit of cleaning before I set my machine up. Next time I will take my featherweight.

thimblebug6000 04-13-2014 06:36 PM

Well.... it took me a long time to get my "real" project stitched together.... so only managed to stitch 4 of the blocks today...but I'm happy with even those few....... Hopefully I'll get organized enough to get the rest stitched before the next batch are posted.

This is as far as I am going on line with Sylvia. Dr. have said I am going blind and the light 'dimmed' this morning reminding me to get my act together before all sight is gone. Right Optic Nerve has swollen, no cause, no treatment, it just is failing to function onward. Left eye optic nerve blew in 1999, so I am out of spare eye to see. Praying hard that I can have some limited sight to see, but whatever will be, will be. Good luck in your journeys here, and follow your dreams before its too late. QNS

I am so sorry for your ongoing & seemingly untreatable eye condition. I wish & hope that it does not progress any further. It has been wonderful having you among us, giving us advice & wisdom during your journeys here. I'm sorry that you have to give up doing what may be most important to you, we all feel for you. When possible please continue to let us know how your doing. Best wishes :) Mamahen (Diane)

Here are my two blocks for this week, Batchelors Puzzle and Mrs Clevelands Choice

laurafet 04-15-2014 03:50 AM

Oh, Nina, so, so sorry to hear of you sight issues. I know that must be so difficult. My grandmother developed macular degeneration in later life, and could not sew, knit, or do any of the things she loved. Be well. Our hearts are always with you.

laurafet 04-15-2014 03:55 AM

Very nice blocks Mirabelle.

Karen G 04-15-2014 05:00 AM

Nina Sue, I am so sorry for your losses.

Anael 04-15-2014 12:19 PM

Mirabelle, some more beautiful blocks!

Karen G 04-16-2014 05:42 AM

In case you were wondering Mrs Cleveland chose a block with 65 little pieces!

thimblebug6000 04-17-2014 04:54 PM

 Yikes.... I'd better get a move on! Really 65 pieces ???? Bowled today so really no excuse for not getting these blocks caught up....
Love what you've done with them, and thanks so much for the pictures.

giquilt 04-17-2014 06:30 PM

Well I am behind, been out of town to visit DGD. When returned finished a UFO and now working on a 2nd UFO. Quilting the tops. Hopefully I will catch up in May with all my blocks.

Anael 04-18-2014 02:03 AM

More lovely blocks Karen :)
Ever heard of Nearly Insane? One of the blocks has over 200 pieces and it's 6" finished :D :D

Anael 04-18-2014 06:12 AM
