I would use cornerstones, just because I love it and it's easier to line up the rows
I would go with the yellow because oh well I just love yellow........gives a spring feeling and doesn't distract from the blocks.

I like all three options - white is crisp & clean and the blue/yellow cornerstones give a very nice finished look. My 1st quick glance favored the blue cornerstones but you can't go wrong with any of the three choices!

I agree, no matter what you choose, you can'tr go wrong with this quilt. If it were mine, I would go with the yellow cornerstones. The teal cornerstones just get a little lost with all the other teal that is going on, but the yellow stands out nicely. Yellow just adds to the calming effect of this entire quilt, in my opinion.

Finished 3 over the weekend. Spent a lot of time messing around with Robbing Peter, will circle back around to it later with Teen's good suggestion.

I like it with the cornerstones in blue. Without seems too busy and the yellow just doesn't feel right. (And, I love yellow.) The blue just seems to be perfect to me.

Whatever you decide, it is going to be beautiful.

DonnaPea, three beautiful blocks. But, I was drawn to the colors in your first one. You are going to have a very interesting scrappy quilt. Is your background fabric white on white or light beige on light beige? Because I think the latter is what is coming across on my computer.

It's a creamy beige tone on tone. Thanks for your encouraging words!

Great blocks, Donna. More beautiful fabrics. How many blocks have you completed? I'm eager to see a group picture with all your fabrics.

Thank you all for your suggestions.. I am leaning towards the blue but I still like the yellow. Besides the applique border, I have an idea for inner borders and the yellow cornerstone would work better for that....I'm going to think about it today as I run some errands.
