How do you all deal with cravings? I know I can't be the only one with this problem - during my PMS week (how much is too much information . . . I know), but I bloat 5 lbs. and crave chocolate and quick carbs like crazy. Even if I eat plenty of produce and protein, I still find myself at the pantry door over and over for a couple of days. Do I just let it go for those 2 or 3 days or try to fight it?? Any suggestions will be most helpful. Unfortunately this has hit at the end of the month so I may pass on weighing in a month-end total, as it really won't be realistic.

I don't have PMS but still have the cravings. Try some B-complex vitamins. It might help take that nagging craving away. I take 100 mg b complex and It isn't nearly so bad. I can actually pass the fridge w/o looking in it! LOL

Rose--be careful on that treadmill. Take it easy... you can worry about the weight after the wee one appears.

I have that too--but for one day. I always know what's ahead when I cannot get full, no matter what I eat. Hopefully--it'll be coming to a stop soon. I just try to eat low cal stuff... popcorn... baby carrots...soup... doesn't always work. Chocolate covered pretzels always works--for the craving--not for the last pounds.

I am somewhat eating more now, in preparation for the incentive program in March. Being the winner is not my biggest intention, but maybe the incentive will jump start my losing again. Platues are frustrating :!:

There has been a good response for the "Weigh In Reward Program" to be posted Fri. Feb 26. Hang in there girls!!

thank you for your concern. the widwife actually suggested I get some MILD exercise to help reduce my stress levels from work--an effort to keep my blood pressure in check. So far it's working!

Cravings--they are hormonal!!! I know this because I crave chocolate like a MAD woman when not pregnant. While pregnant I can't stand anything sweet--especially chocolate!!

keep up the good work everyone!!!

Today is weigh in day for me and I have gained 2 lbs. I know what the reason is. I did not exercise at all for 3 days and I may (just may) have gotten a little cocky since losing 4 lbs last week, This gain sure took that attitude right out of me. LOL Instead of walking 1-1/2 miles this morning, I walked 2.48 miles. It is a new day, a new beginning, and I am determined to keep going.

I weigh in this evening. I will try to report as soon as I get home, if not, in the morning. Sorry, don't mean to be a trouble maker.

Hope everyone is happy and healthy today. Fake it 'til you make it!
