I go to Capri hair school and get mine colored, cut and styled for 35.00. The teachers are always checking. I have never came away disappointed. I go every two months because my hair grows so fast. If you look in the almanac it says what days to get your hair cut not to grow or what days if you want it to grow. Husba

Around here it's anywhere from $15 to $75. Getting someone to do a good job is the trick.

My hairdresser is about $40, her mom used to be my hairdresser and she charges $22 but it's 45 mins away so by the time I drive there and then home it's better for me to just go to the daughter.

I have short hair.
When I was still working, I went to a place a few blocks from the shop @ approx $30.
After retiring I started going to Great Clips @ approx $9.
Now I go to my son's barber shop. He gives me a smooth cut - no scissor lines. Free

Well if you wanted a cut, and color at a salon in my area.... You would be lucky to get out the door for under $200.00 that does include a modest tip.
And they are always busy!! Go figure!
I have been going to great clips , not exactly a place to get "style" but it does the job. It makes me a bit crazy they want to charge to dry my hair , but I just make sure I go home before doing other errands.

Hmmm...before I retired 11 yrs. ago, I paid around $50. to get my hair washed, cut and styled. Since retiring..DH does the trimming. Believe me, that costs me waaayyyyy MORE than the 50 bucks..LOL! I cut DH's hair too and I charge lots more than that also...LOL!

I pay $12. She washes it and styles it too. I love the way she cuts it too.
