I get mine cut and colored every 6 weeks, its about 80 bucks, when I need the highlights - we add on another 40 bucks.... But this is still way cheaper than my previous salon.

When I worked I went to a salon and paid $35 and then I retired! Wanted to use that money for something else so now I go to Great Clips and pay $10. Not as good but ok since I don't go out that much. DH has cut my hair before and did a good job, just don't want that mess in my house. I color myself and I wear my hair spikey!

My sister and mother go to the same hairdresser. Their haircuts are $40 each. My husbands barber cuts my hair. It is a blunt cut. She has been a barber for many years and also has a salon for ladies. She charges me $9.00

I'm very lucky to have a friend who will do mine. I bought her a new pair of scissors as it had been years since she did it, then paid her $20 and she told me my next cut was free.

If I'm at my other location, the girl has been doing mine for several years and still charges me the $15 it was when I started going to her. Her posted prices are more now. She was telling me about someone from out of town who was amazed at her prices because they had been paying over $100 for a haircut in the city they lived in. She said if she charged that she'd be out of business in a week in our area!

I pay $18 plus $5 tip at a walk-in hair salon where I have found a stylist I really like. I get wash, cut and style. If I were to go to a salon that takes appointments, it would be $20-$25 for a wash and cut...no style.

We've got a lady here that charges $25 for shampoo, cut, style and blow dry which is cash only no visa, etc.

Any of the other salons here charge $35 and up - Cost Cutters and First Cut say $15.95 but thats just for them to wet your hair and cut it, no styling that's an additional cost

I go to Walmart - $15. They have two young stylists that really do a great job on haircuts and I am picky.

 That's expensive! Here the haircuts are about $14. or so.
To get your hair colored is about $50-$60 depending on the length.

Take out taxes, rent, etc. Can the stylist live on that money?
