It took me a long time to learn that some are only online for awhile and others are only free for awhile then go to being a $ pattern. I save the ones I want when I see them if the publisher has given permission.

Since I sew as well, now I save mine as

sewing-baby doll dress
or quilting-D9P wonky

Saves LOTS of time looking-----

I do too, and of course I'll never be able to make them all!
My eyes are bigger than my hands and amounts of time :D

Same here! Fortunately, there isn't a show for free pattern hoarders.

 My DH had to buy me a pc with a bigger hard-drive so I can have enough space to 'save' ...
All 'my' patterns are saved in their own category - eg - children / babies / table / kitchen /bathroom etc. ....
Its the same with embroidery designs ...
I had to stop collecting, because I spend so much time online, that I will never use them all!!:)

There is a small free program on the internet ... "cutepdf" ... instead of printing everything on paper, this program 'save' your file as a pdf.
Works like a charm!
