I'm downhill about 12 miles from the North Bend location, and about 10 miles from the Kent center (which I think is their main food center here). Been getting deliveries for a couple of years now. Mostly it is white vans but there are also people who pick up a few hours here and there doing deliveries in their own cars.
I'm a Prime member and recently I was asked to choose a delivery day, so unless I specify differently everything I order in a week is delivered on Mondays because I am usually home that day. I can still get next day delivery if I want, but I get credits if I don't...
We have used the same day option before for a computer part. That was amazing, came about 2 hours after we ordered it. I don't remember but the charge was something tiny like $10?? We tipped the driver too
As real estate says, location location location!

On the other hand, they lost my package and instead of shipping another one to me they rather refund me my money. I told them I'd rather have another package shipped to me but nope, they rather send me my money so now I have to reorder my item. Was not happy at all.

Amazon package is here usually the next day after I order it. Some packages take a second day. An Amazon van delivers in my area. I have Prime but mostly for streaming and free books. I save enough to pay for those using the free shipping. Walmart has fast shipping too and won't be long there will be Walmart delivery vans.

Yes I did! A little girl! I'm sorry I forgot to make an official QB announcement. I posted the news on a swap and quilt along threads. I just posted one with photos in the Personal Diaries and Announcements forum. Thanks for asking!

Congratulations NZquilter!
Deliveries are so fast these days. I have prime and have received USPS and "white truck" deliveries on Sundays too. I love it when I can track the truck approaching my house.

I don't think the drivers have to worry. Sadly, around here, crooks follow behind the delivery vehicle and steal packages that have just been dropped off.

We live outside the city limits, but have had a few of the USPS Sunday deliveries. Weirds me out!

Isn’t it great to have packages delivered so quickly- no waiting in lines. Where I live in so cal, Amazon has a contract with USPS for Sunday deliveries as well as hiring delivery people to use their own cars. Have had deliveries made by Amazon White van, UPSP, the little white mail truck, and UPS. Would love to have a drone deliver my package!
