My husband's favorite sandwich is a B.A.T. Bacon, avacado, and Tomato, he's from L.A. California, and he craves good fish and chips, but the ones they have around here are not good, they are real heavy and greasy. I can't stand any fish deep fried.

Could somebody post how to make chocolate gravy - please!

Also, how could any American NOT know what a Twinkie was? Still in shock over this. This fabulous cake is in every store, drug store, convenience store, gas station in the USA.

My grandpa had a large apple farm in Central Washington
and I never met an apple or apple recipe I didn't like.
I would also like the recipe for Chocolate Gravy. Not sure if that sounds good or not. I won't try it on my apples though.

In case you were talking about me, I didn't say that I don't know what it is. I have just never had one! They don't even look good to me!

Do you know how to make a simple white gravy and have a favorite recipe? If so you add about about 4 TBSP. unsweetened cocoa powder and 3/4 to 1 cup of sugar. Some people add vanilla also. Hope this helps. My late MIL made it and I definitely did not like...

I don't consider meatloaf junk food. All that's in it is Hamb., eggs, oatmeal or breadcrumbs, catsup, onions and seasoning. I raised 3 kids on it. Well, with other things too! LOL! We're having meatloaf, Baked potatoes, fresh corn on the cob, green garden salad, cantaloupe and watermelon for dinner tonight. Just made myself hungrey!!

Pizza was a biggie when I was living in the Pacific Northwest. My BFF and I would have it at least once a week or more. I had a friend who toured Europe and said she couldn't get good pizza anywhere. Didn't even like it in Italy, where they scoffed at the mention of pizza.

I worked with an Australian for a while, and she raved about Vegamite (sp?) and how it was darn near the national food there. She had some sent over so I could try it. I thought I'd never get that first bite down, and wouldn't risk a second. I thought the stuff was horrible - looked awful, smelled awful, and tasted awful. But, she loved it.

meatloaf is junk food? pshaw!

i make mine with chopped vegetables, egg, and breadcrumbs or torn bread if they're handy. with more veggies on the side and maybe some mashed, that's definitely not junk. ;-)

twinkies with chocolate gravy, anyone?
